IS ADMISSION TO ACTIVITIES AND SHOWS FREE?Yes, admission to the Place Jean-Béliveau site from June 16 to 18, 2023 is free. The June 21, 2023 show at Place D'Youville is also free. Some activities at the Grand Théâtre de Québec are ticketed. Full details are provided in the program.

WILL THE ACTIVITIES OR SHOWS TAKE PLACE IN CASE OF RAIN?Rain or shine, the show goes on! Please check the weather forecast before heading to the site. Dress accordingly! Activities may be cancelled ONLY in the event of a thunderstorm or due to exceptional conditions or circumstances.

CAN I BUY FOOD ON SITE?Chef Maxime Lizotte of the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation and his team offer a tasty menu. You can purchase either a table d'hôte (main course, side dish, dessert and beverage) or a single course. A children's menu is also available. The menu is here (link to menu). Payment by debit or credit card. No cash will be accepted.

IN WHICH LANGUAGES ARE ACTIVITIES OFFERED?Conferences will be presented in the native language of the speakers and presenters. Some will be in French, others in English. Some exchanges may also take place in an Indigenous language.

ARE THERE ANY ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN?Yes, a number of activities are offered for children (5 years old +).

IS A WIFI NETWORK AVAILABLE ON SITE?Wherever you are on the ExpoCité site, wireless Internet is available free of charge thanks to ZAP Québec. However, we cannot guarantee signal strength or consistency. Source: Expocité

WILL THERE BE ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR SALE ON SITE DURING THE KWE EVENT?There's a boutique-library on site, under a large shaputuan identified for this purpose. The vast majority of products are made by artisans who are on site on the 11 Nations Trail, and whom visitors can meet during the event. The Hannenorak Bookstore is also present under the shaputuan to sell books. KWE! hoodies are also on sale.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET GOODS DURING THE KWE! MEETING INDIGENOUS PEOPLES?KWE branded t-shirts and hoodies! will be on sale in the shop from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day of the event.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A BOOTH ON THE EVENT SITE?Since KWE! is a non-commercial organization focused on bringing people together, we don't rent out booths or space.

WHEN IS THE OPENING CEREMONY?The opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. on June 16, 2023 in our Cultural Demonstrations area, at place Jean-Béliveau. A certain number of seats are reserved for our invited guests. The bleachers can accommodate a maximum of 200 people during the ceremony. Space is also reserved for people with restricted mobility.

IS EVERYONE ALLOWED TO SELL CRAFTS ON THE KWE EVENT SITE!The only place to sell handicrafts is the craftsmen's shop located on-site. The vast majority of the products are made by artisans who are on site in the 11 Nations Trail and who visitors can meet during the event.
