OPEN IN CASE OF RAIN: SEVERAL INDOOR ACTIVITIES!

HIP HOP WORKSHOP

KWE! Meet with Indigenous Peoples is calling for Youth aged 18-25 to send their application to participate in a hip-hop songwriting and recording workshop on June 17-18, 2023 at the KWE! Meet with Indigenous Peoples’ festival site, at Place Jean-Béliveau, Quebec City, from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on each day.

 

Four participants will be selected: 2 Youth from any of the 11 First Nations and Inuit in Quebec and 2 Youth residing in Quebec City.

 

The workshop is led by hip-hop artists Q052 (Quentin Condo, Mi'kmaq hip-hop artist from Gesgapegiag), Violent Ground (Christian and Allan Nabinacaboo, Naskapi artists from Kawawachikamach) and Sensei H (Sirine Hassini, rapper originally from Rimouski now based in Quebec City).
